Abstract

Road accidents are viewed as a major problem on a global scale, and a good vehicle speed monitoring system can help to lessen this problem. More recently, thanks to its flexibility and deployment efficiency, wireless sensor technology has shown significant promise in the design of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The objective of this study is to create a wireless accelerometer-based prototype vehicle speed monitoring system. The novel approaches in intelligent vehicle control for crucial distant location applications employing ARM have their research interests in integrating the Global Positioning system with embedded wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi). In a conventional system, they are made to regulate the daily speed of cars. The proposed system's main goal is to drive the car at a safe speed in dangerous areas.
