Research on Contracting Shrinking Cities from the Perspective of Spatial Planning

Abstract

Under the new urbanization, the number of shrinking cities increases and types are rich. The early strategies of resource-exhausted shrinking cities can not solve the problem of Shrinking Cities in the new era. Based on the analysis of the concept connotation, mechanism and particularity of Shrinking Cities in the new era, this paper puts forward the strategies of land planning, rigid bomb combination, physical examination and evaluation to control Shrinking Cities from the perspective of spatial planning.
