Abstract

As the further development of information communications technology, large amount of information emerge as a trigger to the change of college English class ecosystem. As the entities in the college English class ecosystem, the teachers’ and students’ perception of the informatization and their respective roles in the ecosystem decide the results of teaching activities. This paper employs three research instruments to gain the pedagogical perception and recognition of informatization. Firstly, the teachers’ and students’ opinions about the ecological change of college English class ecosystem were collected, and then the comparative study was carried out to testify the effectiveness of the ecological reconstruction design. By creative application of ecological theories in combination with the result of the post-experiment interview, adjustments were made to the reconstruction design proposed. The results of the research indicate that teachers and students recognized the change of college English class ecosystem exerted by the informatization. According to their perception, some limiting factors in the college English class ecosystem were extracted. And the feasible reconstruction model was put forward to minimize the negative effect of informatization. Teachers and students as the biotic factors in the ecosystem contribute their activeinteraction, lead the ecological self-organization and maintain their development pedagogically and cognitively.
