Evaluating the effectiveness of practical education for the student teacher at the Faculty of Physical Education, Al-Azhar University

Abstract

This research aims to identify the extent of the effectiveness of practical education for the student teacher at the Faculty of Physical Education, Al-Azhar University. The researchers used the descriptive approach for its relevance to the nature of the study. The main research sample included (66) students who were randomly selected from the fourth year students in the Department of Curricula and Teaching Methods for the academic year 2020/2021 out of a total number of (648) students, where the percentage was (10.18%). The most important data collection tools were the reference survey, reviewing some previous studies, and conducting personal interview. One of the most important outcomes was the development of a survey questionnaire that measures the effectiveness of the practical education program for the student teacher at the Faculty of Physical Education, Al-Azhar University. One of the most important recommendations is to strengthen the full cooperation between the academic supervisor and the school supervisor as there is a conflict in their directives, in addition to using the questionnaire that was reached to evaluate the practical education program in the faculties of physical education at the level of the Republic.
