Abstract

The growth of the internet witness that billions of people are interconnected with each other and IoT have become the emerging trend in the present era. IoT can be wired or wireless technology for establishing a data communication channel between systems and services available through the Internet. The Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) is the most prerequisite technology assisting IoT for any real time application. The major issue in WSN assisting IoT is energy efficiency which became complex w.r.t large scalability, and it is not applicable directly to IoT. Here the challenging aspect is routing which is applicable in this platform. In this paper, we discuss a various routing protocols for WSN assisting IoT for Wireless Body Sensor Network (WBSN) with an objective to improve the energy efficiency and network lifetime.  Here the sensing nodes and users are composed by IoT network. The improvement of energy efficiency and network lifetime system is a defy issue in WSN assisted IoT for Wireless Body Sensor Network (WBSN) by using Routing Protocols and Optimization technique. The routing protocol implement the clustering for energy consumption then after an optimization algorithm is recommended with an objective to improve the energy efficiency and network lifetime. The protocols are simulated in Network Simulators (NS-2) tool with Wireless Body Sensor Network (WBSN) application. The network area with different sensor nodes is distributed randomly in WBSN. The simulation results state the various sensor nodes as 100,200,300,400,500 in the body for health monitoring.
