Simulation Research on Urban Traffic Evacuation in Case of Emergency
Abstract
In order to reduce the negative effects that emergencies may have on urban rail transit networks, and enhance the sudden response capability of traffic stations, simulation software is used to simulate traffic conditions under emergencies, thereby making early preventive measures and reducing the losses caused by incidents. Assuming that the emergency scene is a gas leak and explosion accident in a chemical plant in a city, the micro traffic simulation software VISSIM is selected as the simulation platform to build the simulation basic road network, select the evacuation path, and design the traffic organization management measures. The evacuation plan is analyzed and evaluated by the output index of travel time, queue length, delay and other simulation results, and the optimization measures are put forward, including setting up the special evacuation channel and adjusting the timing of the signal. It can be seen from the simulation results that comprehensive utilization of various traffic organization management measures has obvious effects on improving road network traffic conditions and improving evacuation efficiency.
