Abstract

In a developing country like India, agriculture is the most important occupation. Agriculture's efficiency and output can be improved by replacing labourers with intelligent robots that use cutting-edge technology. The proposed effort intends to develop a low-cost, high-efficiency pesticide spraying robot in order to limit the amount of time that farmers are exposed to harmful chemicals that harm their health. The robot will spray insecticides and fertilizers in place of workers. The proposed robot is used in agriculture to spray pesticides and detect temperature and humidity differences. The implementations related with this study are divided into three categories: sensing, control, driving, and spraying modules. STM32 is the primary controller, and it is to it that all of the devices are attached. Through a mobile application, the pest spraying pipe, which can be either a pipe nozzle or a sprinkler, can be modified to meet the needs. The robot has two modes of operation: automatic and semi-automatic. In semi-automatic mode, the robot is controlled by the user via a smartphone application using IoT. It's an automated robot with a NodeMCU unit that responds to user commands and can also be controlled manually. The goal of this proposed project is to increase farmer safety when performing crop-related activities such as spraying chemicals, fertilisers, and pesticides, and to make it available to all farmers across the country.
