Evaluation of Green Learning and Developments Association with Green Variables of IT Companies in Chennai

Abstract

The article objectives to investigate on how green learning and development influence the companies green strategies. This paper helps to know how green learning and development helps to reduce the cost and maximize the profit of firms. It describes the role of green learning and development for launching new products and project of the Information Technology sector in India. Thispaper explains the relationship of green learning and development with other green HRM variables like green initiative, green sourcing, green work environment, green work-life balance and green HRM practice.  The data was collected through structure question was distributed among 370 responded in that 100 samples was collected in manual form and reaming 270 samples was collected through a google form. The questionnaire carries three sections. The first section is demographic related 18 questions, the second section is contain 3 questions each question had 8 items which related to general green activities of a firm and section three carries 7 variables related to Green HRM that is like green learning and development, green initiative, green sourcing, green work environment, green work-life balance and green HRM practice it contains 73 items all items measure through five points Likert scales. All collected data were analyzed with help of SPSS Statistics 17.0 version. The result of this paper helps to firm how green learning and development helpful them to take greening decisions for safeguard our environment.
