Abstract

The current work presents a method to choose the most appropriate type of solar panels to be used as a source of energy to charge the battery on which the water-extracting device operates, and to choose the most suitable one in terms of cost and efficiency in work, taking into account the most appropriate panels for use in remote areas in terms of the total cost of the total solar panels and the most suitable for the environment. The comparison between the efficiency of solar panels at different temperatures and the impact of their efficiency on the change in temperatures, taking into account the general atmosphere of the project implementation area, which is Iraq, and its atmosphere, which varies between hot to moderate for most days of the year and the extent to which solar panels are affected by these atmospheres. Therefore, the solar panels that were compared are the monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels, excluding the thin-film panels due to their low efficiency, unsuitability and the high price that does not match the main objectives of providing an inexpensive and environmentally friendly source of energy.
