Abstract

The ability to identify different types of objects and classify them according to features of that object is quite easier for human beings as compared to machines. Deep learning technology has currently shown impressive performance and successfully achieved performance on different computer vision issues, one of the extreme challenging problems is Product identification and classification. In recent years, the rapid development of objection detection and classification as an epitome of artificial intelligence. In this paper, the extensive reviews of 130+ papers highlighting efforts of researchers in the field of product detection and object recognition as technical aesthetics using the technology of deep learning approaches. This paper also contains the literature reviews of product recognition datasets used for the retail industry.
