Frog Leaping Feature Based Student Analysis and Grade Prediction of IT Course

Abstract

Learning of student depends on teaching skills and course activity. As per experience and student observations skills, experience improved. To increase observation student analysis is done by various researchers. This paper has proposed a IT course grade prediction as per student data analysis. For finding patterns Frog Leaping Genetic algorithm based feature were extracted. Student features that affect grades of student like, urban/ rural, teaching medium (English/Hindi), outdoor Activity, etc. were select by Frog leaping based on sigmoidal function. Selected features were used to train the neural network that takes predict the student grade. Experiment was done on real dataset collect from Madhya Pradesh Colleges having technical courses. Result shows that proposed model has increased the prediction performance on various course students.
