Abstract

This paper deals with the analysis of mitigation of the torque ripple of the Induction motor that has occurred due to injected DC current by using ANFIS controller. By taking flux variation into account along with the DC injected current, extra component of 2nd order harmonic current is determined. For the extraction of the DC signal instead of using the low pass filters, the averaging filter is proposed in this paper. By expressing the above stated two currents with respect to fundamental frequency components in the synchronous reference frame, the ripple in the torque can be reduced by using PI controller. The performance of the entire system is improved by using ANFIS controller. The simulation results are validated once by inserting PI controller and replacing it with ANFIS controller, both the simulation results are compared for decrease in torque fluctuation and determination of stator resistance by utilizing MATLAB/SIMULINK software.
