Abstract

A psychrometric process, adiabatic cooling, coverts the low humidity high temperature air into high humidity low temperature air. This process is used to decrease the temperature of atmospheric air in low humidity region. Humidification of air can be used to enhance the heat transfer rate from engine fin in two-wheeler [1]. This paper is a review of my pervious paper on heat transfer from engine fin. Further the same date will be compared with of modification methods of engine fin heat transfer. Most of the works in fin heat transfer enhancement are on design or material of fin. Either different designs are used to increase the overall heat transfer area from fin or different materials or alloys are used to enhance the thermal conductivity of the fin material. This paper deals with the how good or how bad the external changes in the fins are to the replacement of fin with new.
