Abstract

This research work presents an effective unique cardiac chamber for the patient suffering from high heart rate, slow heart rate and low diastolic blood pressure.

A closed air tied chamber is design with a facility of computerized ECG machine for heart rate measurement and automatic blood pressure measurement apparatus.

The classifier is developed and tested with the real time ECG signals. Automatic analysis is performed by using artificial neural network. Following three consecutive steps are required for automatic detection: 1) R-R interval detection 2) Heart Rate Calculation and 3) Classification.

After analyzing ECG signals of patient sitting inside the cardiac chamber appropriate therapy is applied to the patient depend upon its heart rate, and blood pressure. This therapy act as emergency first line precaution from arrhythmia suffering patient. Implementing of therapy may result in heart rate and blood pressure variability of the patient inside the unique cardiac chamber. This research work concludes with the design of an effective unique cardiac chamber in which automatic detection of cardiac arrhythmia and implementation of an effective therapy for arrhythmia patients.
