Research on College English Textbook Compilation Based on Big Data Evolution Analysis

Abstract

Based on the current situation and problems in the development and research of English
teaching materials, this paper puts forward the research objectives of the future research and
development system of English teaching materials. In view of this goal, this paper selects the
research perspective based on history, and puts forward specific research problems. Big data
technology is used to analyze the evolution of teaching materials, and the corresponding data
mining technology is used to predict the trend of evolution analysis. Finally, it is concluded that
the evolution of style is the joint action of multiple factors. The main factors that affect the
development of English textbooks are: the needs of social development, the concept of college
education, the theory of general linguistics, the theory of foreign language teaching method, the
theory of psychology, the language level of teachers and students and educational technology.
The results are valuable for the development and research of English textbooks.
