Abstract

This study investigates thedeflection and stress distribution analysis in a simply supported beam of uniform square cross section made Steel &Aluminiumhaving linear elastic material properties like homogeneous and isotropic. The experimental & Numerical method approach is used to for analysis of beam. The weight of the beam is assumed to be negligible. Finite element analysis of the beam was done considering various types of elements under middle loading conditions in ANSYS17. The various numerical results were generated at different loading condition. Furthermore, the flexural rigidity (EI)is calculated and it is observed that it is maintained at a static load. On comparison of numerical method results with experimental method. The calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental ones.
