Abstract

This paper implements a Brushless DC drive that uses an Artificial Neural Network PFC. A DC capacitor controls the speed. In order to obtain the full Power Factor, a Cuk power rectifier is fed into a brushless DC motor DC converter. This process of running three modes of operation in discontinuous mode and finding the approach that creates the most Power Factor is being done to obtain the highest Power Factor thereby reducing total Harmonic Distortion. The proposed new Artificial neural network scheme is to the traditional PWM. Simulation findings show that ANN controllers are extremely accurate and successful in long-term device stabilization, as they show less long-term system error. In ANN methodology, calculation period is short since there is no model. The proposed device is built and then tested in a virtual and physical world.
