Abstract

The digitalizing of the 3D shape of real article is rapidly increasing field, with applications in design, archaeology and entertainment, 3d scanning of objects and the surroundings have many practical uses. Methods of 3D object model creation on the basis of sparse cloud of points are considered in the paper. The relative analysis of creation of surfaces algorithms for the purpose of displaying of more useful method using the depth maps received from the sparse point and  carried out. The comparison is made by approximate, computable and temporal criteria. The ideal method of 3D object model creation on the basis of sparse cloud of points and depth map data is chosen. The description of the point cloud method on the basis of stereo-matching with two-phase algorithm and depth map extraction from MultiView Stereo for Community Photo Collections source image set is provided. These vision must be recorded and merged into a single, consistent model. The purpose of this project is to generate 3D image of an object using a 2D camera, which could be opened and edited with a Third Party software like MeshLab, Regard3D.
