The Construction History of Labuleng Temple

Abstract

From a diachronic point of view, taking the figures and events that have an important impact on the construction of Labuleng Temple as the clue, combing with the literature and field research, this paper identifies the characteristics of the construction situation, divides the historical stage of the construction of Labuleng Temple into stages for the first time, and divides the construction process of Labuleng Temple into the initial stage of architectural form, the forming stage of architectural system, and the forming stage. There are three stages in the decline of construction. This study not only complements and improves the current research theory of architectural history of Labuleng Temple, but also has practical reference significance in architectural protection and renovation.
