Abstract

Rocket motor casing is the most important part of the rocket. It is made up of composite material such as carbon fiber or carbon epoxy. The transportation fixtures are used to handle the rocket motor casing while transporting. These fixtures are most important components in the transportation setups. These are designed to handle the casing for various operations. The motor casing is a cylindrical object. While transporting the casing itshould be in stable condition, should not tilted to any position, which may cause the damage. The transportation fixtures are designed to stop the tilting condition from all sides. Thistransportation fixtures are design by using the Solid Works the transportation setups are used to transport the rocket motor casing from one place to another place. The transportation setup is designed for transporting the rocket motor casing. Which consisting of various components such as saddles, wire rope isolators, end fixtures and flat bed. The work is carried out by two stages. In first stage, design the model and all components are assembled to it. In second stage is static structural analysis of the setup.
