Application of Self Built Bilingual Parallel Corpus in Interpretation Teaching in Application-Oriented Colleges and Universities

Abstract

The rapid development of modern information technology has contributed to the establishment and use of self-built parallel corpora. The self-built corpus can provide a large variety of educational resources for interpretation courses of English majors in applied colleges and universities, which can greatly facilitate the improvement of interpretation teaching and learning. This paper systematically analyzes the current situation of the development of interpretation courses in applied universities in China, and investigates the use of parallel corpus technology in university interpretation courses to cultivate applied English interpretation professionals.
