Investigation on Solar Desalination System through Machine Learning and Internet of Thing Approach

Abstract

There is a shortage of drinking water in many oceanic and arid region of Gujarat. These regions have better solar radiation throughout the year. Different membrane and phase changing processes are suggested for water desalination in these areas. But the better availability of solar radiation in Gujarat and the successful installation of photovoltaic power generation unit in many parts of the state motivates the use of solar energy for water desalination. In the review, different desalination techniques, it was possible to design a better solar desalination system for the oceanic and arid region of Gujarat.
