Monitoring of Harmful Species of the Cicada Family Aphrophoridae of the Fergana Valley of Uzbekistan
Abstract
The article presents materials on the monitoring of cicadas of the Aphrophoridae family in the Fergana Valley, for the diagnosis of harmful species, their morphological and biological characteristics, systematic position, distribution, harmfulness and significance.
Cicadas are very diverse in species composition and in the number of individual species. It has beenestablished that cicadas are an essential component of entomocenoses of natural and cultural landscapes of the Fergana Valley, in which the negative impact is especially pronounced during their mass reproduction.
