Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Job satisfaction: Comparative study of Government and Private Hospitals

Abstract

Emotional intelligence in present scenario, considered as most impactful factor in the success of ant organization. The purpose of the study is to check the impact of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction of the nurses working in various hospitals of Haryana. The sample taken for the study is the nurses working in the various government and private hospitals of Haryana state. The sample for the study is 230 nurses in all. The nurses from the government hospitals are 106 and numbers of private hospital nurses 124 in number. The technique of data collection is judgemental technique. The collected data was further analysed by using SPSS using various statistical tools and technique. Durbin Watson regression technique is used to determine the impact of both the variables. The findings of the study reveals that emotional intelligence has a positive impact on the job satisfaction of the nurses.
