Abstract

The purpose of the study is to identify the combination of passenger car attributes using full profile conjoint analysis. The research comprised a survey of around 300 respondents. Conjoint analysis was used to ascertain the most valuable attribute of vehicle and choice option. Study shows that the relative importance of factors and utilities for respondents as a whole (n=299) is different from the respondents grouped into different categories based on demographic variables such as gender, family size, and level of income. The study results can be beneficial to companies that target their customers segment because the study is aimed at finding the best passenger vehicle design solution so that the automaker can understand the different segment needs better.
