The Development of a Religious Tourism Business Model – Blue Ocean Strategy Approach to Increase Regional Original Revenue in Madura Regency

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the development of a religious tourism business model using a Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) approach increases Regional Original Revenue (PAD) in Madura Regency. The research method used was a quantitative approach using analytical tool of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) PLS to test the hypothesis. The results showed that BOS provides an effect on PAD. It means that the development of Blue Ocean Strategy business model can be used as a strategic model to develop religious tourism and increase Regional Original Revenue in Madura Regency.
