Awareness of Divyangjan for Sugamya Pustakalaya at C. N. Braille Library, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad

Abstract

The paper elaborates the findings obtained during a survey carried out in C. N. Braille Library about the awareness of SugamyaPustakalaya. The SugamyaPustakalaya launched in association with Daisy Forum of India and Tata Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. It is the very first e-library dedicated entirely for the Divyangjan in India. It has a collection of accessible e-books on a range of various subject categories. The library has also partnered with international groups to give access for e-books for the Divyangjan. In view of the significance of the said project, the authors of this article deliberation of considerate the awareness of the Divyangjan about this determined project. The opinions conveyed by the users about the different aspects related to the SugamyaPustakalaya are discussed in the paper.
