Abstract

The increasing connections and dependency on the concept of modern computing there is a vast demand in the vulnerability towards cyberattack. To fight against this cyberattack, identification of the malevolent traffic and distraction of the same without the involvement of the humanoid is a crucial action to be taken in safeguarding our extremely valuable systems. To achieve the mentioned, supervising network traffic, classifying and recognizing abnormal performance in nearby true time, and performing prompt act against known threat are believed to be the main three tasks. This approach influences the architecture of Distributed SDN and the AIS (Artificial Immune Systems) principles and SOMs are used to develop a network-based intrusion detection structure which can detect DDoS attacks and terminate in progress.
