Abstract

In the field of business analytics, prescriptive analytics is regarded as the next frontier. It offers organizations to take advantage of likely market opportunities with adaptive, automated, and time-dependent courses of action. Prescriptive analytics, given the interests of businesses, lets them optimize their business values and at the same time, minimize their probable risks by suggesting optimal sequences of actions. Business analytics focuses on allowing companies to make faster, easier, and smarter decisions to generate business value. Today, the main subject in academic and industrial fields is predictive and descriptive analytics. Nevertheless, in science, prescriptive analytics, aimed at discovering the best approach for the future, therefore gained more and more momentum.Prescriptive analytics is often seen as the latest move in increasing data analytics maturity and leading to optimized decision-making in advance to boost business performance
