Abstract

Recent AI research has focused on developing intelligent robots that can perform high-level activities that require sensing, complicated motion, and intelligence similar to human behaviour. In recent years, robots have been given artistic abilities, such as the ability to sing, dance, and even play games. This research describes a control mechanism for a robotic arm that allows the robot to learn another human artistic behaviour: Bitmap drawing bot. For the image processing interface and trajectory calculation in the suggested system, OpenCV is used. Inverse kinematics is used to translate the value of a pixel's coordinate xy position into joint angle, and the servos are controlled by Arduino UNO. The authors compared the output images after applying the canny edge detection approach to other edge detection methods. The image is entered using the Matlab GUI, which is user-interactive.
