Abstract

When the government declared lockdown. classroom based education ended abruptly personal interaction was reduced to ground zero and computer based learning replaced the classroom learning overnight.  The e-learning wave was taken wholeheartedly by the teaching community at the outset, but the interest towards the system lost its vigour among the learning community during the course of time. By the time the educators became adapted fully to the new normal, the learners’ participation showed a tremendous decrease. With the intention of improving the unpredictable responses from the learner, and to see variation in their inclination towards this new learning method an online questionnaire with twenty questions was prepared and circulated among the students during the academic year 2020-21 and collected their opinion on various aspects. The current study aims to understand and analyse the variant situation with a view to modify the teaching approach to the advantage of the learner.
