Enhancement in data privacy using a dynamic cloud platform in E-healthcare system.

Abstract

Cloud computing provides an advantage like Flexibly of space, Security, cost optimization, accessibility from any remote location. Hence its application is present in various field including healthcare. Even though cloud services provide various advantages over traditional storage, but still it is not completely evolved and users from healthcare cloud services faces some critical issues including lock in issue. Because of lock in issue healthcare system is depended on cloud vendor infrastructures, hence a data transition among different vendor is not smooth. Data privacy is also an important aspect of healthcare data storage and outsourcing of this data could compromise the data privacy. In this research a service-oriented cloud computing platform is proposed. This platform is present above heterogenous clouds and hence provides an advantage like maintain standards, easy customization and dynamic nature. This makes easier transition process for personal data among various vendor. While the experimental analysis Advanced Encryption Standard and light weight data privacy approach is used to protect the patient’s personal information. For performance analysis large medical records are used for testing scalability and real time performance. The result analysis shows the improvement in the data privacy and there is no extra overhead of computation or resources of proposed system.
