Abstract

This novel coronavirus (COVID-19) had awakened the echoes of SARS-CoV notified nearly two decades ago when SARS- CoV emerged in 2002 in Guangdong Province, China, and MERS-CoV emerged in 2012 in Saudi Arabia. The outbreak of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is caused by the SARS-COV-II (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome- Corona Virus 2). COVID-19 has been declared as a pandemic by WHO because it has raised a public health emergency worldwide. The wet seafood market of Wuhan, China, was confirmed as the initiation point for this outbreak as most of the preliminary infected patients reported from this region. Further, this infection turned into a viral disease, and person-to-person transmission led to the spreading of COVID-19 around the globe. This review article presents a comprehensive study of epidemiological trends and characteristics of SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, and SARS-CoV-II which highlights symptoms, transmission history, analytical discussion, and possiblemedication available for SARS-CoV,MERS-CoV and SARS CoV-II and  current case management.
