Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is facing several threats in the form of cyber scams, one of which is the possibility of a Ransomware attack. Ransomware is ransomware that encrypts your data and locks your computer or prevents you from accessing it until you pay a ransom. Ransomware is a rapidly rising threat to personal and business computer files. It encrypts files on an infected device and refuses to open them until the user pays a ransom. It is simple to create and distribute ransomware. Ransomware is a broad term that refers to a type of ransomware that is used to extort money from victims over the internet. The aim of this paper is to cover everything there is to know about ransomware.
