Experimental Study of Energy Absorption of Steel Frame Building with Uniform Connections
Abstract
The article presents the results of field tests for vibration effects of a one-storey industrial steel frame building with single-bevel braces along the columns. Conventional single-beam ties and single-beam ties with an energy absorber (EE) are considered for use in frame buildings for the purpose of seismic protection. As a result, the dynamic characteristics and energy absorption indicators of the building were determined.
