Abstract

Vaccination for the novel Corona Virus has started across India and across the globe for protection against Covid-19. Starting off with January 2021, the vaccination drive commenced with frontline and health care workers initially and later the vaccination was being given for people with co-morbid conditions between the age group of 45 and 59, and people above the age of 60. The vaccines launched were namely COVAXIN, SPUTNIK V and COVISHELID. After first and second dose of vaccination,  people came across mixed opinions regarding the post-vaccination conditions and effects to  the COVID-19 virus. In this work, we proposed to carry out sentiment analysis regarding the vaccination of COVID-19 and visualize the results in a dashboard front-end. A google form was created and circulated  to many people across the country including friends, families, relatives and others, enquiring them and asking them to share their experiences on how the vaccination has been so far, and the experience of the people who have been vaccinated. Using the data that we received from the google form as a dataset input, we proceeded  with sentiment analysis, interpretation and projection of the results acquired in the form of Cards for better understanding, and visually on the map of India as well, to  understand the experience of people post-vaccination from different states across India.
