Education policy has a hoary past.For a better understanding of education system in India it is divided into two major periods namely pre independence and post independence. The influence of this promotion the use of English education decision may still be seen in Indian education today. The country's educational system, had far-reaching consequences during the colonial period. India's independence opened a new chapter in the history of education policy.
