Abstract

The idea of ​​the paper evolved at the time of becoming aware that the certification leads to the improvement of the performance of the company. The purpose of this study is to know if ISO certification really affected performance and the determinants which are responsible for the adoption of ISO certification. This study explores the relationship between the reason for the acquisition of the ISO certification and the overall the variables associated with adoptions of ISO certification of the certified firms. In order to know the performance of the company, the Internal Operational Efficiency and the External operational Efficiency, customer focus and demand are taken into account. Researcher has tried to study the impact of adoption of ISO certification on the manufacturing firms in Delhi NCR region. The whole paper focuses on these parameters. Researcher has tried to establish on a conclusion whether the factors under study has affected the firm’s performance. How ISO 9000 certification has helped the company improve its over-all growth. Further researcher has tried to establish a relationship between the four variables under study.
