Abstract

Usage of non-linear loads causesvarious issues in power quality like sags/swells of voltage, imbalance, distortion in harmonics, and minimal interruption. Abroad equipment range is encompassed by these loads which areinfluenced bydisturbances in voltage. Recently, the Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) is introduced for protecting sensitive loads from sags and disturbances in voltage. The increasing load demand is met by the incorporation of DVR with PV systemand a boost converter controlled by P&O algorithm is utilized for enhancing the input voltage from the PV panel. The three phase voltage source inverter is controlled by cascaded fuzzy algorithm along with PWM generator for generating inverted AC voltage. An LC filter is exploited for the suppression of harmonics and the simulation processisdone by MATLAB for investigating the functioning of the method proposed.
