Abstract

In Present days renewable energy operated grid and distributed generation are attractive solution for the Power Quality (PQ). The Frequency deviation at point of common coupling is the major problem in a grid connected wind system. Now a days due to inter connection of dynamic loads to the practical Power system we may experience sag and swell in the voltage profile and due to the inter connection of non-linear loads we may experience harmonics. All these issues are coming under Power Quality and these issues are resolved with help of Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) and capacitor bank driven Voltage Source Converter (VSC) operated Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR). In this project a comparative analysis between the Wind Energy fed grid with and without Compensation by Fuzzy Dynamic Voltage Restorer is presented. Total simulation is carried out with help of MATLAB Simulink.
