Abstract

Present study is to analyze third grade fluid flow along an inclined microchannel. The important fluid properties such as viscosity and thermal conductivity are taken as non-constant. Mixed convection is analyzed with the influence of first order chemical reaction and the activation energy. The study analyses the temperature, velocity, entropy generation and the Bejan number for the considered flow. Effective mechanism which involves finite difference method is used to solve the governing equations and the outcomes of the study are analyzed using graphs. Study reports that by the variation of activation energy parameter concentration profile shows the dual trend and for the third grade fluid parameter irreversibility of system is dominant compare to the irreversibility due to heat transfer.
