Abstract

Cinema and literature are connected to each other but still, they are different in their own ways. It has always been one of the most fascinating forms of knowledge which have made a great impact on the human psyche. My paper focuses on Chetan Bhagat’s revelation towards Indian cinema and literature that shows the importance of his writing and the connection with the cinema that spice up the progress of human civilization. Chetan Bhagat displays the ambition of the youth, mixed with fears and colorful with tears. His men and women observe morality within the warm-heartedness of human relations. He modify  the story of his novels that fit to visual imagination for the appreciation of audience, because he know that film is more elaborate and influences the behavior of characters and also unfolding of events in the story forces every translation in filming to go beyond the original text.
