Abstract

Design thinking is a collaborative inquiry technique that encourages creative, team-generated solutions to "wicked issues," which are complex, difficult-to-solve circumstances. The demand for design thinking in healthcare is expanding as the healthcare system and its treatment environments become more intricate. Even though considerable medical discoveries have clearly enhanced the average human life span, the current healthcare system is inefficient. In healthcare design, design thinking and the creative, human-centered solutions it provides are more vital than ever.Even though design thinking is not a new concept in architecture, many design teams, particularly in healthcare, struggle to fully integrate it into the design process. Design thinking evolves, resulting in the use of technology to create a more sustainable built environment that strikes a positive balance between health and other social, economic, and environmental factors. The information, design process, checklists, and recommendations in this article may assist architecture designers in putting the technique into practice efficiently. The present work will present a methodical analysis for three projects that demonstrate how to think about architectural design in terms of planning and implementing projects that are appropriate for the current and future pandemic times.
