Abstract

Thisstudylookedatthevariouscausesandgrowingcasesduetodistracteddriving,beitduetouse ofcellphones,carstereos,GPSorotheractivities.Thisresearchproposesasimulatorapproachwhich an be integrated in the targeted vehicle and could help in controlling the mishaps due todistracted driving. The various researches carried out in the field of distracted driving focuses mainly on providing asituationwhereonecanconcludewhetherthedriverisindistracteddrivingmodeoranormalmode. TheyhavetakenhelpofvariousmachinedeeplearningmethodsusinghybridorConvolutionneural networktoprocesstheimageswhicharefedtothesysteminanofflineofonlinemode.However,the gapofcontrollingthevehicleafterdetectionofdistracteddrivingisstillabigquestion.Theproposed simulatorinthisresearchpaperintendstocontrolthespeedofthevehiclebyinitiallyalarmingthe driveratacertainperiodoftime.Thisexperimentalsetupwillnotonlymakethedriverawareofhis behaviorduringdistracteddrivingprocessbutalsoforcefullymakeshimtoobeytheroadsafetylaws.
