Abstract

In this paper, investigated the effects of work pressure and magnetic field configurations on discharge characteristics produced in internal hollow electrodes discharge (HED) design, by the breakdown voltage curve (Paschen’s curve). The normal glow discharge is produced when a DC constant voltage of about 4kV is applied between the two electrodes. Due to this external voltage, the argon plasma discharge is formed and then the voltage of the electrodes will drop.
