The Impact of Urban and Tourism Development on South Sinai

Abstract

Tourism is a human phenomenon and socio-economic activity that represents effective powers in the life of societies, as it become a significant part in the lives of people and state, and it is like any other economic and humanitarian activity that has positive and negative effects and results, so there was an urgent need to plan and activate this sector in order to ensure achieving the maximum possible benefit from it.

Consequently, tourism is considered a factor for development, as it leads to the economical development activity and avail job opportunities in the established tourism projects, in addition to developing other activities which support economics.

In the light of problems that the tourism sector suffers from and within the framework of promoting the tourism industry which lead to increase income opportunities, solving the problem of unemployment and upgrading the reality of the economy. Financial allocations must be necessary to start the advancement of tourism in the development plans and programs must be montored and developed through a comprehensive survey About the tourism potential so that it can develop the existing tourist areas, expand the size of tourism services and deepen its contribution to enriching tourism.

To achieve comprehensive tourism development, the capacity of tourism area must be determined to avoid congestion in order to encourage establishment of projects that provide income to the local population and to cooperate with all sector’s related to the tourism in order to establish successfully tourism projects.
