Research on Construction and Application of Evaluation Model of Geological Environmental Suitability of Natural Sponge Body in Sponge City Construction

Abstract

The focal point of sponge city construction is the utilization of natural sponge body and the
construction of artificial sponge body. Taking Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone as an example,
the influencing factors are analyzed and 8 factors are selected to establish the evaluation system.
AHP is used to calculate the weight of each index. Mapgis is applied to carry on the
superposition analysis of each index and geological environment suitability evaluation of
natural sponge body is carried out. The results showed that the thickness of unconfined aquifer
and the permeability of unsaturated zone are the main factors affecting the utilization of natural
sponge body. In the construction of sponge city, we should give full play to the advantages of
surface, unconfined aquifer and unsaturated zone. In the worse suitable area artificial sponge
should be supplemented to construct a benign urban water circulation system for better control
and utilization of urban rainwater and flood.
