Fuzzy Logic based Energy Balance Routing Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract

Energy is one of the major constraints of conventional Wireless sensor network as these networks depends on battery power. Hence, the energy efficient operations are mandatory to improve the performance and life of WSN. Therefore, the energy consumption of WSN will be addressed with novel schemes of Fuzzy logic with energy metric and compare with the conventional method of Flow augmentation routing algorithm. Network Simulator2 is used for simulation and results shows that Fuzzy Logic network lifetime is most effective when compared to existing methods under various traffic load conditions.
