Performance Comparison of Wind Mill using PI Controller and DSTATCOM for Different Algorithms with Non Linear Load

Abstract

As renewable resources have undergone fast expansions worldwide in recent years to meet the energy requirements, in particularas wind power generation accounts for a large share of this renewable energy, power quality has emerged as serious challenge. An approach has adopted using PI controller with DSTATCOM  for power electronic load condition ,here different optimization techniques such as Harmony Search , Ant colony optimization and Genetic Algorithmhas used for performance tuning for different types of faults conditions. Satisfactory results were obtainedby A research level software MATLAB R2017a is being user for simulation and analysis purpose.
