A Survey on Various Median Filtering Techniques for Removal of Noise from Digital Image

Abstract

The need for more accurate and visually beautiful photos is growing in tandem with the growth in the amount of digital images created every day. Modern cameras, on the other hand, capture images that are invariably damaged by noise, resulting in worse visual image quality. As a result, work must be done to minimise noise without sacrificing image quality. Processing of an Image is a promising technology. Reduction of Noise in image is the key point to maintain the quality of an image. The process of Noise diminish is the first step in image processing, analyzed data and image can be used in a range of fields like medical and education for input. The filtered image uses a variety of methods based on the type of image and behaviour. In this paper different types of filtering methods are discussed.
